Hostel Crowds app for iPhone and iPad

Traveling around Thailand and Cambodia with friends booking hostels we quickly developed a love for the backpacker and hostel culture. It was an easy way to meet people and make the most of our holiday. Every traveler had a story to tell which made our own stories better, and every hostel had a theme which made it easy to discover each destination.

First, we fell in love with Thailand. Unfortunately, and as much as we appreciated the hostel booking platforms we’d been using to get around, we felt their services were outdated and too transactional. As travellers we wanted to connect with others and meet more easily. And as it were, we couldn’t talk to each other, we couldn’t share stories, pictures, nor adventures on the existing platforms used for booking hostels. So, we built Hostel Crowds.
